Okay, so here's the thing: alongside my amateur passion for photography goes my passion for writing. Which, in fact, has been my closest friend for way, way longer than photography. I've been writing mostly personal stuff for years (still do - I'd say it's kind of a life-long addiction): first only in Polish, then in English (when I finally realized that I actually CAN write in English, i.e. around three years ago).
And then, during my MA studies, we started a small Creative Writing Group at our Uni. And I started writing some short fiction in English. Some of which, I posted on my wordpress page. And I would like some feedback on that, especially from native speakers of English - not as much about the stories themselves (though that would be appreciated as well) as about their language. I don't really know how many people visit my DA page, but I've been around here for seven years (!) now and there is quite a bunch of you who watch me (thanks for that, by the way), so maybe there are some native speakers of English among you who would like to give me some time: read my short stories and let me know which parts don't sound very English. Believe me, I really, really want to improve, and without proper feedback (and some audience) it's pretty much impossible.
If you don't have wordpress account or don't want to comment publicly, you can send me an email to: email@example.com or send me a private message: here or on twitter, or wherever you want (links below my ID photo). And by all means: once you took the time to read them, please let me know what you think!
The links to the stories I would like gain some feedback on are here:
- A Journey
- A Scar
Thanks in advance!
